We had the honor and privilege of detailing a 1964 Chevrolet Biscayne over the weekend. The customer requested a full interior & exterior detail, as he plans on selling the vehicle after over a decade of restoration work. Here are some photos of the vehicle throughout the detailing process.
The owner has taken very good care of the vehicle, both in restoration and storage. The main concerns were seat stains inside the vehicle and rail dust on the exterior. Luckily, both issues were addressed with ease. The customer also requested an engine bay spray out/wipe down, and we were more than happy to oblige.
The interior of this antique vehicle was nothing less than breathtaking- the amount of care that has gone into the restoration was simply astounding. The customer stated that when he bought the vehicle, it was completely gutted on the inside. The vehicle was purchased near the Mexico/Arizona border, placed on a trailer, and hauled back to Southeast Michigan.
The entire process took around 4 hours. From the door jams to the wheel wells to the old fashioned knobs and buttons, every inch of the vehicle was wiped down. It was satisfying to bring the vehicle’s look back to its full potential. Our first happy customer!
